❤️ You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy.❤️ It's okay if you're nervous.❤️ It's okay if you cry.❤️ It's okay if you don't know where to begin.❤️ Healing happens one step at a time.
Is everything I say confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. Counseling is confidential except in limited situations required by law, such as concerns about immediate safety, abuse, or court orders. We'll review confidentiality together during your first appointment so you understand exactly what it means.
Do I have to talk about my trauma right away?
No. Therapy moves at your pace. We will build safety and trust first. You will never be pressured to discuss experiences before you feel ready.
What if I become emotional during a session?
That's completely okay. Emotions are a natural part of healing. This is a space where you don't have to hide what you're feeling.
Do you provide Christian counseling?
Yes, if you would like your faith incorporated into counseling. My approach is client-centered, which means we'll honor your preferences and beliefs. Faith is available as a resource when it aligns with your goals but is never imposed.
